The curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to excel as licensed estheticians in various professional settings such as salons, spas, medical offices, and as independent practitioners.

Nail Technician

The UHMC Nail Technician course provides comprehensive training, starting with foundational skills in standard nail services like manicures (including hand and nail treatments) and pedicures (with foot treatments). Students advance to applying various artificial nail enhancements, mastering techniques for acrylics, gel nails, and sculptured nails.

Lash Extension & Enhancement

Providing specialized training in the application of semi-permanent or temporary lash extensions to enhance the length, thickness, and curl of natural eyelashes. This course focuses on the meticulous techniques, safety protocols, and artistic skills required to create beautiful and customized lash looks for clients.  This 3 day course will teach you to be efficient in Lash Lyfting, Brown lamination, Tinting, Classic and Volume Lash Extensions.

Prerequisite: Must be a licensed Esthetician and show Hawaii State license document for verification upon enrollment of this course.
