Situated on one of the most beautiful islands in the world, the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College is an accredited college that offers three bachelor of applied science degrees, a wide variety of associate degrees and certificates, as well as distance learning degrees through its UH Center on campus. UHMC is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools & College.

With small class sizes, a low student to faculty ratio, math labs and career counseling, UHMC students enjoy personalized, individual attention and the support they need to be successful in school and their future careers.

University of Hawaiʻi Maui College's Extended Learning  & Workforce Development Office (ELWD) is located in the Laulima building on the Kahului campus, with ample free parking.

Ben Howard B.A. Painting; Website Developer; Instructor-Programming Web Design classes; Art and computer programming brings both Art Computer programming perspective to Website Designs; over 13 years experience.

Chantelle Brown Worked as a lifeguard for over fifteen years with the County of Maui in pool and beach lifeguarding; Instructor for American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Classes for over ten years; and Instructor for CPR/AED classes.

Chris Pearce Founding director of the International Sake Association and the organizer of The Joy of Sake, the largest sake-tasting event outside Japan. The only certified sake assessor in the United States.

Clifford Rutherford Program Coordinator and instructor for the Construction Academy at UHMC. Taught energy and construction trade credit courses with the Sustainable Construction Technology Program.

Danielle Miller B.B.A. Social media expert, small business enthusiast, and founder of a marketing consulting and coaching company on Maui. She currently works with global and local businesses on a daily basis to build profitable relationship through internet marketing.

Desmund Manaba 18 years of experience farming Axis Deer, he is currently the only business man in Hawaii selling USDA inspected venison and Axis Deer by-products. He has developed national and international markets for Axis Deer.

Don Suzuki  Licensed electrical engineer who is an instructor for the Electrical Apprenticeship Program at UHMC.

Faith Ewbank 24 years as a marketing specialist. She grew up on a ranch in Kipahulu. She has made it her avocation to study and research the County, State and Federal regulations on animal waste streams and compliance. She is currently a waste stream consultant.

Jason Coughlin  is a LEED AP for New Construction and has over seven years of CAD 2D drafting experience.  Jason has many years of experience as a contractor along with experience in the Telecommunications, Water Utilities, Land Surveying, Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering fields.

John Bendon Founding principal of Green Building Hawaii and is a leader in Hawaii in the fields of green building and energy efficiency. John holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver. He is a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in LEED Homes, Certified Energy Rater under RESNET, and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
