Situated on one of the most beautiful islands in the world, the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College is an accredited college that offers three bachelor of applied science degrees, a wide variety of associate degrees and certificates, as well as distance learning degrees through its UH Center on campus. UHMC is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools & College.

With small class sizes, a low student to faculty ratio, math labs and career counseling, UHMC students enjoy personalized, individual attention and the support they need to be successful in school and their future careers.

University of Hawaiʻi Maui College's Extended Learning  & Workforce Development Office (ELWD) is located in the Laulima building on the Kahului campus, with ample free parking.

Our Location

UHMC Continuing Education offers a wide range of highly interactive courses that you can take entirely online. All of our courses are led by expert instructors, many of whom are nationally known authors. Our online courses are affordable, fun, fast, convenient, and geared just for you.

COURSES BY SUBJECT

(6 – 12 Weeks)

Learn on a structured six-week schedule with instructor moderation and discussion board. Or choose self paced option and receive all course materials upon enrollment and learn independently at your own pace within the three-month access period.

CAREER TRAINING

(3-24 months)

University of Hawaii, Maui College, in partnership with ed2go, offers online open enrollment programs designed to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional level positions for many in-demand occupations.

UP SKILL WITH SUITES

(20-96 hours)

Curated collections of courses (suites) allow students to quickly master today’s in-demand skills.  Suites consist of multiple courses sold as a bundle designed to be taken together.
